What is PSPA?

Subscribe to the NewsletterAn active parent’s association at Andover, Parents of Students of Phillips Academy (PSPA) welcomes any and all participation.

We have two primary goals:

  1. To enhance communication between parents and the Academy’s faculty and administration and
  2. To organize events that support both the students and the school.

The board, elected in March annually, serves for one year. Board meetings are held monthly and are followed by the general membership meetings, which all parents are invited to and encouraged to attend. These meetings are held on a Thursday evening when school is in session. Check out the Calendar for the meeting schedules. At the general membership meetings a guest speaker, usually a member of the faculty or administration, will discuss topics of interest, update parents on new initiatives being introduced in the classroom and answer any questions. This is a time to meet other parents, exchange ideas, and hear first-hand about student life at PA.

There are many different ways to be involved with PSPA.

  • Check out the Calendar for upcoming activities and program schedules.
  • There are volunteering opportunities during our merchandise sales and various events at the campus. Check out the volunteering opportunities section and consider giving an hour or two of your time.
  • Please join the PSPA e-mail list to be better informed and involved with your child’s education at PA. Some of the information you will receive includes PSPA general meeting notices, program notes of monthly faculty speakers and invitations to attend social events for parents and students.

Even if you live on the other side of the world from Andover, this is a worthwhile connection.

PSPA looks forward to another successful and memorable year. Thank you for your support.
